San Francisco, bookshop, elderly family member, author Rockstar, romance, wine country, single dad handyman.
Yes, please.

I’ve read a ton in the last year and believe me when I say I rolled my eyes when I discovered the setting for this book – a bit cliché – but Susan Wiggs worked some magic out of it.
You’ll wonder what the main character is going to do with her life when confronted with incredible hurdles. You will be rooting for her to embrace her non-traditional upbringing, to overcome things she always thought were weaknesses.

If you’re a book-lover, you’ll also be rooting for another main character in the book – the historic bookstore. The action in the building is riveting, honestly, and ties in a bit with San Francisco history.
We already know there can be romance in a bookstore book – Wiggs shows us there can be action, too.
Rabbit Hole
Wiggs provides some rabbit holes of her own! She weaves some of her own favorite books into the story, so there are plenty in there. This time I don’t feel the need to add some more 😊 You’re welcome.
